    The Capital City (Male) is located on a separate island from the airport island. All Maldives holidays fly into Male Airport where seaplane or speed boat transfers speed you out to your selected island paradise for the start of a true getaway from it all.

  • Best time for a Maldives Beach Holiday 

    The Maldives enjoys a tropical climate and has two distinct seasons: the dry season, known as the ‘Iruvai’ monsoon – April to December; and the wet season or ‘Hulhangu’ monsoon – May to November.

    The dry season (April to December) is a period of regular sunshine with little or no rain. This is also the best season for scuba diving.

    The wet season (May to November) is a period in which the whole of Maldives experiences torrential rain showers which includes thunder storms. This is the best season for surfing. The wet season however does offer periods of sunshine as Maldives enjoys year long sunshine. The temperature normally ranges from 23 degrees C to 31 degrees C.
