CAPE TOWN KRUGER AND VICTORIA FALLS ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Cape Town – Table Mountain Tour
You will be met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport, and transfer to your hotel situated on Cape Town’s famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Time to relax before exploring one of the world’s most beautiful cities. A cable car tour up Table Mountain is first on the agenda, offering some of the finest scenic views to be found anywhere. We also visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before returning to your deluxe hotel.

Day 2 – Cape Town – Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour
Depart this morning on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Drive along the Atlantic seaboard to the Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve and view the meeting point of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic. It’s undoubtedly one of the most memorable coastlines you’ll have encountered. Cruise along the exquisite site of coastline known as the Millionaire’s Paradise from Clifton to Camp’s Bay, embark on a up-close Seal Island cruise, and drive along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive relishing the breathtaking ocean views, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. Return to your hotel after a full-day on a breathtakingly scenic Cape Peninsula Tour.

Day 3 – Robben Island Tour
A short ferry ride from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront will bring you to Robben Island. This infamous Island has played an important role in South Africa’s long and turbulent history. Views which can be enjoyed off the Cape Peninsula and the South African mother city make the ferry ride quite an enjoyable experience. Home to President Nelson Mandela for a large part of his 27 year incarceration, the prison has since been turned into a museum and the tour is conducted by an ex-political prisoner, who has had first hand experience of the conditions on the Island. Visits are made to the prison building, as well as to the lime stone quarry where the prisoners where forced to work. Some wildlife has been re-introduced to the Island and a glimpse of these animals might be enjoyed.
The duration of the Robben Island excursion including the return ferry ride is about four hours, which then brings you back to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront around lunch time. The rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 4 – Stellenbosch Winelands Tour
After breakfast enjoy a full day tour to Stellenbosch, the heart of the Cape Winelands (duration 40 min).
The town is the oldest in South Africa after Cape Town and is the most scenic and historically-preserved town in Southern Africa. Oak-lined streets next to water furrows, compliment the many fine examples of elegant Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian architecture.
It is home to one of the country’s prestigious universities, and you will love exploring the fine art galleries, the architecture, the history, and the quaint shops – – all part of this unique “Town of Oaks”. The Stellenbosch Wine route is the oldest, largest and probably the most visited of the Southwest Cape’s wine routes. You will visit two of the finest wine estates, where the art of wine making in South Africa is experienced first hand. The tour returns to Cape Town during the late afternoon.

Day 5 – Flight to Kruger National Park
You will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for a flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport where you will be met and transferred to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.
The reserve is named after the two principal rivers which flow through it, namely the Sabi and the Sand and covers an area of approximately sixty five thousand hectares of pristine African wilderness. The reserve is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is home to most of South Africa’s finest Safari Lodges.
The late afternoon is devoted to a first game drive with a specialist guide for an up-close and personal encounter with nature, seeking out the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo) as well as other wildlife species.

Day 6 – Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
A game drive conducted during the late afternoon and early evening, could offer the opportunity of spotting one of the Big Cats, readying themselves for the hunt. Both the Leopard and Lion are nocturnal and would most likely be more active during this period of the day.
You will be thoroughly pampered – not only is the accommodation superb, but the service, cuisine and game experience is of the highest standard.

Day 7 – Flight to Johannesburg – Pretoria
A last morning game drive in this wilderness sanctuary is followed by a flight to O.R. Tambo International in Johannesburg.
You will be met on arrival at the Airport and travel to Pretoria. The Jacaranda City is so named for the thousands of Jacaranda trees, which line its streets and transforms the city into a purple wonderland during Spring, when the trees are in full bloom.
Enjoy a tour of the city’s highlights visiting the Union Buildings with its commanding view of the city. The building currently houses the office of the South African president. Designed by the famous British Architect Sir Herbert Baker, it is regarded as one of the countries architectural masterpieces. A visit is also made to the Voortrekker Monument, which bears testament to a people’s pioneering spirit.

Day 8 – Flight to Victoria Falls Zimbabwe
You will be transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport Johannesburg for a flight to Victoria Falls, named after the majestic falls close to which it is located.
The Victoria Falls is without a doubt one of the most spectacular natural sights in the entire world. See 650 million litres of water from the Zambezi River crash into the chasm below, from some of the many vantage points.
After a tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, visit the Victoria Falls Craft Market, where some of Africa’s finest artwork is on display.

Day 9 – Elephant-back Safari – Sunset Cruise
The morning is devoted to an Elephant back safari in a wilderness area not far from Victoria Falls. An experienced elephant minder accompanies each elephant and client. You’ll get a chance to connect with these magnificent animals as they carry you through grasslands and forests in the area. You’re also be able to view the surrounding wildlife in a much more natural way than from a vehicle.
A strong emphasis is placed on an Elephant experience rather than just an Elephant ride and guests are encouraged to interact with these majestic and intelligent African mammals. Your safari ends with a short training session and interaction with the elephants, followed by a late breakfast or early lunch. Return to your hotel to relax and look forward to a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
View game coming to the waters edge for a late afternoon drink, whilst the setting sun creates a splendid display of color over one of Africa’s finest wilderness areas.
