Day 1
Your iconic journey starts as your train leaves Pretoria’s Capital Park Station at 09h30. Enjoy superb lunch and dinner in the magnificent dining car enroute for the border formalities before crossing to Botswana.
Day 2 Friday
The train travels north through Botswana’s capital city, Gaborone. Lunch and Dinner is served as the train traverses Botswana en route to Zimbabwe border formalities. Overnight stop at Mpopoma.
Day 3 Saturday
Travel along Zimbabwe’s Hwange Park, a rich and diverse wildlife sanctuary where animals can be spotted from the train and a game drive excursion is enjoyed. This journey is along one of Africa’s longest stretches of straight railway line – 114km. Arrive Kennedy for a game drive at The Hide.
The Hide in Hwange National Park is an exclusive safari camp. Positioned in its own private concession right on the boundary of the National Park.
Overnight stop at Thompsons Junction.
Day 4 Sunday
0700hrs the train departs Thompsons.
1000 – arrive in Victoria Falls.
