Lion Sands Game Reserve, lies within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, and part of an ecosystem which is home to the largest concentration of wild animal species in Southern Africa. It is well-known for exciting leopard sightings and home to the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo), as well as cheetah, wild dog and hundreds of other species of animals and birds. The Park lies adjacent to the southwest corner of the Kruger National Park. There are no fences between the two reserves, allowing game to move freely between the two areas.

Day 1: Arrive Kruger Airstrip
On arrival at Kruger Airstrip, you will be met and transferred to the lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive. The Lion Sand Game Reserve forms part of the exclusive selection of private game reserves that border the unfenced edge of the Kruger National Park. As there are no fences, the animals can wander between the reserves as they please.
Highly trained and experienced rangers and trackers ensure that your safari experience ranks amongst the best in the world!
Enjoy an afternoon lunch followed by high tea and then your second game drive of the day and dinner upon return.

Day 2 and Day 3 : 2 Days of Fantastic close-up experiences with Africa’s wildlife on every game drive.
Spend the mornings and late afternoons in search of animals. The Reserve is home to the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo), as well as cheetah, wild dog and other species.
A day at the Lodge begins with an early wake-up call for tea or coffee and then on to your first game drive. Return after approximately 3 hours for breakfast and then enjoy a little time at leisure, or if you would prefer, you can go on a Bush walk or any other activity of your preference.

Day 4: Mozambique Villa Santorini
Today you will transfer back to Skukuza Airport from where you will take your onward flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique (included).
Upon arrival at Vilanculos Airport you will be transferred to Villa Santorini, situated a few kilometres north of Vilanculos, Villa Santorini commands panoramic bay views from its secluded, elevated position. The elegant split-level interior combines space,flow and luxury. Bedrooms are ocean facing, air-conditioned and en-suite, each with a private patio.
Excellent service and fresh culinary delights are hallmarks. of Santorini. An extensive range of land and sea activities –
several cost-included, are on offer. Here, time is marked by the rhythm of the tides, and natural beauty fills the pauses.

Days 5 – Day 7 – Villa Santorini Mozambique
Enjoy 3 further days on the beautiful paradise-like beaches of Mozambique. Lion Sands River Lodge, is built under a canopy of trees dating back almost 800 years, facing east to catch the sun as it rises over the Kruger National Park and has a river island deck that is built on the Sabie River.
Each thatched bedroom is with en-suite bathroom, outdoor and inside shower and wooden viewing deck. The rooms are spread out along the banks of the Sabie River with private access along raised wooden walkways.
With no fences between the reserve and the Kruger Park, big game abounds, moving freely through this unspoiled part of the ancient African continent.

The Chapel at Santorini is a two bedroom villa, ocean facing with its own lounge, kitchen, dining room and a private pool.
